Successfully reopened

Renovations of the Hotel Schweizerhof progressed to plan. In keeping with the municipal planning requirements, the ambitious redevelopment of this celebrated hotel was performed with all due care in order to preserve its historic character. The aim is to turn this time-honoured establishment into the federal capital's leading luxury hotel and business hub. The Hotel Schweizerhof was successfully reopened in April 2011.
The new Hotel Schweizerhof comprises 99 spacious guest rooms and suites with luxurious bathrooms. The suites are equipped with mini-kitchens, making them perfect for longer stays. This opens up an entirely new market. Uniquely located in the immediate vicinity of the rail station and boasting a state-of-the-art infrastructure, the Hotel Schweizerhof will be the ideal venue for seminars and conferences. These and all manner of other functions will be held on the hotel's 800m² Bel Etage. The hotel also offers a business center with fully equipped rooms for individual or group use (up to 12 persons).
The new Hotel Schweizerhof includes the ever-popular Jack’s Brasserie. The Jack’s Brasserie was softly renovated in summer 2010. There is also an attractive new Lobby-Lounge and Bar. Reservation requests can be made through the Hotel Schweizerhof website.
The capital investment involved was CHF 45 million.
